In this Springfield home overhaul, entries were knocked down and widened, the trim, doors, paint, flooring, stairs, lighting and fireplace were all redone. The family room as well as the rest of the house had a complete transformation. Here are some before, during and after images. Things have to get ugly before they get pretty.

There were too many door swings, and we wanted light from the laundry into the hallway, so we installed a pocket door with frosted glass.
